A very warm welcome! My name is Frank van der Kolk. I am the owner of Puur Egmond. Within a 100 metres walk from the sea, from the beach and the dunes and close to the village centre of Egmond aan Zee, I have two lovely cottages Duinzand (Dune Sand) and Helmgras (Beach Grass). Both cottages have been completely refurbished in 2018 in a tasteful way and decorated with an eye for detail. Thanks to the use of natural colours and materials, you can feel the presence of the beach at home.

Egmond consists of three urban areas: Egmond-Binnen, Egmond aan Zee and Egmond aan den Hoef, which all belong to the municipality of Bergen.
Most inhabitants of the beautiful village of Egmond aan Zee, the most renowned of the three urban areas, used to earn their livings by fishing. This past of fishery can still be felt on the streets, being evident from the large number of fishermen's cottages, the fishery monument and the lighthouse J.C.J. van Speyk, one of the oldest still active lighthouses in the Netherlands, which rules the view on the village from a prominent place at the boulevard.

Far reaching vistats where high domes skies over a low horizon are interspersed with dense forests.
